  1. Thanks for the great event lads. I had a ball and camping on the Saturday night is the only way to fly.

    See you in May :).

  2. Glad you enjoyed it, we certainly enjoyed hosting it.

Big thanks to Landon for his hard work with timing (as he has done all year for HMBA) and a massive thanks to Murray's for the awesome beer. If you appreciated the beer send the brewery an email. They have already expressed an interest in the next race.

I was supposed to camp but had to get home in the end, will definitely camp next time.

Next race in may will see the free sausage sizzle improved with the addition of a real BBQ, hopefully that means no more ques.

See you in may, and tell your friends.

I enjoyed whacking your elevated elephant

  4. That is the best whacking my elephant has had in years. Whacked till it's blue.

  6. A top event, even if I did have to leave early. Big thanks to Sammy and G for getting me into the event, I had a ball. Also good to see my Bigpuddle mates start on the grog way too early and pay a small price.

  7. And it was great to see you there my man. Looking forward to seeing you do some laps next year

  8. As others are saying, that race event was tops. We brought a few new Big Puddlers along for their first ever enduro, and I have feeling they may be hooked (particularly with the night riding thing).

The short course was great for the relaxed race thing, and well suited to the crosser (which copped an absolute beating). Having said that, even after 5 laps on a relatively smooth track, the crosser wasn't the only thing that copped a beating, and the switch to the dually again reaffirmed to me why god invented dual suspension mtb's :D.

And to finish the whole thing off - some awesome craft beer! Brings a whole new meaning to finishing "beer"... the stuff most event organisers put on is pretty ordinary Hope Murray's keep coming back.

And thanks to Topples for stepping in with a couple laps for my one person team of three (which was missing some bodies thanks to chicken pox!).

  9. Thank you G and Sammydog. Another awesome event.

We had 2 first timers in our team and they will be back again with more first timers in may.

And, I won my first (and probably only) ever prize for riding a MTB. I'm stoked!!!!

Saw the pics - the Softride was a blast from the past! Totally awesome!

  12. When I asked Dallas what it was like to ride, he said each bump he was waiting to be flung over the bars.

    Very cool looking bike though.
