Welcome to the ‘10 VVC Series!

The Vestal Virgin series is our 3 event series of insane events for 2010. Run as a sequential series, you can be in the running for the overall ‘Mostest Laps Ever’ awards if you enter all. As with all our events, places are capped at 150 riders per event, so don’t be thinking you can leave it to the last minute, especially as we’ll be opening entries silly early….

The Calendar:

June 5th, 2010: Vestal Virgin Classic 10hr.

21st August, 2010: Vestal Virgin Course de Fantastique (Said with a silly French accent).

Race Details:

Expect

For those that have attended our events in the past, you know what to expect. For those that have not we can tell you you can expect the unexpected.

Single track… lots of it.

Riders can do laps by not doing the laps!

The ‘Great Council of Lap Counters’ can be bribed for extra laps.

Race heads wearing their race face can find them selves penalised for being too serious.

The course has treasure up for grabs.

Riders who bug the timers about how many laps they have done can find themselves loosing laps!

Beer for ever rider. Yep, that’s right, our sponsor, Murray’s Brewing if providing a fine bottle of brew to every rider for December’s event!

In short the VVC is about turning up and having a good time, nothing more. If you are looking to come to the event with the aim to be all serious, competitive and a hero without a cause, we suggest you look elsewhere!

Twenty Six Inches?

Twenty Six Inches (aka 26inches) started promoting enduros of its own back in 2003, after being involved through other business’ in event sponsorship since 2001. In 2007-2008, our events were run under the name BSI (Bomb Squad Industries), namely the ‘OF’ and later the ‘5D’ events. After the forming of the official Pty Ltd company, and something about registering a company with ASIC that had the word ‘Bomb’ in it, we have re-instigated Twenty Six Inches as the mtb enduro concern name.
